Whirring/grinding noise from front passenger wheel

My 2013 makes the same noise from the front passenger side, but mine is not a 4x4. I notice it more when I'm making a slow wide turn, sounds like something is grinding, either going forward or in reverse.

I wore out my front axle hubs in 40k miles on last truck by running offset rims, grippy tires, and cornering at aggressive speeds. :-(

grinding noise
i have been having the same issue on my 2013 f150 ecoboost lariat, it first started only when I turned right on the front passenger side (felt like the tire was rubbing/grinding) took it into ford, and of course it wouldn't do it for them.have had the truck almost 2 years and have taken it in 6 times now, the vacuum seal is good they said, now it does it even when I am just driving straight up to 70km hr, I only have 28000 km on it and its really getting on my nerves
, someone mentioned it could possably be the 4X4 actuator? Any suggestions.

I know this an old thread but I figured I'd give it a shot.
I had a 2013 F150 FX4 si cel new and just this last summer I traded it for a 2012 F150 Lariat. I needed the longer bed!!! I just now started using the four wheel drive and I have noticed a vibration/grinding when I push the gas pedal. It seems that the grinding is only when I am only slightly pushing the gas, once I push harder it goes away. This problem is only intermittent and only in 4 high.
Any thoughts

New raptor has same 4wd system so you'd still possibly have issues.

Same problem I had my 2013 Lariet 4x4 took 5 trips to ford very frustrating
Yeah had same experience the noise only happen when I left the shop right first they thought it was the rotor so they turned it then it was the right hub so ford replaced left shop the noise still there now there replacing the left side very frustrating

I have a problem tht I've been trying to track down and haven't been able figure it out. I have a 2012 Platinum, and in inconsistent, unrepeatable fashion, I have a grinding/whirring noise that comes from what I think is the right front passenger wheel. It's hard to explain, but it sounds like something is binding, or if you were rolling down the highway with really bald tires. It only happens when I turn slightly right and speed drops gradually from 30 MPH down (for example, if I'm slowing down to turn right into a residential neighborhood street).
I've had it in to the dealer three times, and only once have I gotten it to reproduce - it barely did and it wasn't with a tech, it was with a customer greeter/representative. I thought it was a bad wheel bearing, but every time the "master" technicians have told me that it's normal noise. I disagree because it didn't make this noise the first 5000 or miles that I've had the truck.
Bonus points, it appears to only make the noise when it's cold outside (ie Minnesota winters) because I haven't been able to reproduce it after it's warmed up. Does anyone have any insight on what could be causing this? It's driving me mad!
