Default whining / scraping noise when accelerating in 4x4

I have a 2010 F150 4x4. I bought the truck in April and I only tested out the 4x4 once when I bought it. Since I have put a 2" leveling kit and 33" tires on it. The other day I thought I would engage 4x4 just to work the parts, it made a grinding noise and clunked into 4x4. I was on flat pavement doing about 20MPH. As I accelerated the truck would make a whining and scraping noise. I can't tell where its coming from, perhaps the passenger side.

When I got back home I put the truck in 4x4 and made sure it was engaging in my yard. 4x4 H and L are both working. I have 2 months/3,000 miles left on my factory warranty. I just wanted to get a little bit of input before I take it into the dealership to see what they find, I'm also going to have them correct TSB 11-2-05 for the traction control kicking in when turning.

I appreciate all the help, Thanks in advance!

Mine was doing this a while back, took it to the dealer and one vacuum line was off. Odds are yours may asleep be off, could have got pulled off when you installed your leveling kit.

Thanks for replying, I never thought about that. Did it pull away at the hub or else where.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm hoping its not anything serious, and if it is, I'm hoping its covered under warranty.

Apparently the issue was my IWE, Ford covered it under warranty. They didn't make a fuss over my leveling kit or tires. Overall a great experience at the dealership.
