Default Wheel Options

Looking into buying a 2012 F-150 Super Crew in Lariat trim. Want the chrome package but not a fan of either wheel option when you get the chrome package - the chrome clad seems cheap.

I really like the 20" six-spoke cast aluminum wheels on the FX4.

Opinions on whether they will look good on a race red Lariat with chrome package? Don't want to spend a small fortune on them and be disappointed. I saw them on a 2011 XLT Screw in Oxford White with chrome package, thought they looked good.

Can someone educate me on having to re-calibrate the speedometer if you change wheel size?

Thanks,
Eric

It doesn't matter what size your wheels are. It's the diameter of the tires that will change your speedometer.

Example;
An 18'' wheel with a 33'' tire will show the same speed as a 20'' wheel with a 33'' tire, because they will both have the same revolutions per mile.

Discount tire has a tire calculator on their website to compare different tire sizes to see how much your speedometer should change when you change tire sizes.
