So what can I use to make stealing my rims more difficult. bj973, I like the gorilla lock lugs. I had two regular lug nuts stolen off my truck at work the other day. Ford dealer charges 9.00 a lug nut.

Guys, I live in Miami, You can't have anything nice a vehicle!! It will be stolen. It's not my neighborhood, I live in a good area. It's when you go out and park it somewhere like mall, resteraunt, etc. I really don't like alarms either. Oh well, I guess I would have to move. lol

.40 cal is a highly packed shell and therefore has a lot recoil, more than a .45. Also, usually has a lower capacity. I just sold my .45 for this reason. I will take my 9mm and likely have 6 extra shots that are more accurate.

I wanted a .45 but got a .40 cause it had a 16 round clip vs the 10 (i think, I forget) of the .45, however with a . 45 you only need one shot instead of a full clip of the 9mm, haha! I figured the .40 would be a good compromise. Its a loud bastard but it makes big holes, and lots of them. Put a green laser on it too, pretty sweet. 9Mm is a good little plinking gun but for serious defense use I'd want something bigger.

I got my locking lugs from rimzoneonline when I ordered my wheels. They came free with the wheels. Every lug is a locking one not just one for each wheel.

I asked this a week ago, against all advice, I bought gorilla locks off amazon. A set of 4. My girl has a nice home in sketchy part of the city and I park on the street while I'm there. Just a little added security. Maybe the extra time it takes to hammer a socket on will deter them.
