It started out as Mongo. Then it became Tonto. Next was big sexy. Then, after remembering Tom Slick, it became the Thunderbolt Greaseslapper. I wasn't happy with all of these, as they are too comical to be serious.
Our first 2 minivans (driven over 280,000 miles collectively) were named Traveller I and Traveller II, after the original Traveller who is only the most famous horse ever for any properly raised Southern boy.
So, a horse name. I thought of the real horse names I've heard, discounted them all, and finally settled on my favorite horse from all of fictional literature.
The truck's name is Shadowfax.
