Whats up with my remote start lately?
This past week I've noticed my remote start kinda starting whenever the hell it wants too. Several times I assumed it was the distance, but the lights flash once ( that its locked) and twice for remote start. Usually after a second or two the parking lights come on and I know it's on. But even in the garage sometimes it will flash like its gonna start and just doesn't.
Most recently was bout 20 min ago. Went to see Oz ( or whatever it's called) and I tried and tried to start it. All the lights flash like its accepting the commands, but it doesn't start.
I'm sure someone's posted about this or has the answer, it's 11pm and I'm too lazy to search for an hour. Lol.

Mine is quirky too. Sometimes no problems so I have found that hitting lock button twice slowly and making sure I hold the start button until it is running, it will start. If you miss it there is some delay period before it will function again. Don't know why. Just one of the gremlins I guess.

After 5 Fords w remote start and 3 others without, I have it down pretty well
I've never held it down, but the lights are all flashing how they should like the commands are being acknowledged. I'll try some different ways this am and see if I can come up with a solution, but like i said, lately.... Even parked in the garage and starting it like I always do, the lights flash and it just doesn't start. I get its probably a quirk, but its more often than not now. Close or far. Idk.
I would assume the remote battery, but if the lights flash like it hears the commands I'm not so sure
Thanks for the replies and ideas!
