Default What is this red toggle/light on the dash?

Picked up a 2014 XLT SCREW a few weeks ago...

I've not been able to figure out what this toggle/light is for.

It doesn't press in, but it does seem to move back and forth on about a 45 degree angle.

What the heck is it for?

Oh and if it matters, my truck is a Canadian model.

Thanks!

That's an aftermarket switch. Probably to power an accessory of some type.
You will have to trace the wiring to figure out what it does.

I believe it is the switch that is included with the Rigid off-road lights. I have the exact same one that came with my Rigids. Previous owner probably kept the lights and wiring harness for his new truck.

Default 3 position toggle switch

RCSB 5.0 is right.
Thats the 3 position switch that comes with the Rigid backup
light kit. Thats one of the best additions i made to my truck and I have the switch mounted in a similar location on my truck.
Maybe you got lucky and the previous owner just pulled the lights and left the harness intact. If so, two lights and you are in business. The harness is the hardest part of putting in the back up light kit.
