Default What is this piece called?

Hello all, I’m looking for this lower side cap for the FX2 front bumper. Does anyone have a link to where I can purchase them? Or does anyone have the actual name of the piece? I’ve searched to no avail, the search results just keep recommending the 2 black plastic caps/guards that insert into the front face of the bumper which I don’t need. Thanks for any help you can provide!

You may have to find one used to get just that part. Thinking this is the whole lower part number AL3Z-17626-APTM

You could go to the lower valance that reveals your tow hook mounts. That would be just removing what’s left of the piece you are seemingly trying to find the end for and getting the black plastic valance that is about $100 and doesn’t need painted. You could then attach tow hooks or d rings. Cost for those would depend, but might find used tow hooks with hardware for $40 - $80.

The previous owner of my truck put a big ugly road armor bumper on it. I have since sold the bumper and I’m currently trying to get the truck as close to factory as possible. The bumper, upper filler piece, and valance that I bought are from a 2wd. I plan on just using a dremel to cut the holes for the tow hooks. I’m not sure if the FX2 is the only model that has the color matched end pieces of the valance but when I shopped around I couldn’t tell if the replacement valance has the caps or not. The truck is Tuxedo Black so I guess it wouldn’t be the end of the world if I couldn’t find them since the valance is bqlck already. I think I’m just being to **** about it. 😅

That makes sense. To the best of my knowledge the lower valance you seek is only on the Fx2. As RWD trucks are seemingly the only ones with the tow hooks covered. I don’t know all though, but do know they offered 3 styles. The one you seek with painted end caps, a black all plastic one with tow hook holes and a black all plastic one without tow hook holes.
Someone else might pop in though and know exactly the part number for one end cap. Or call ford parts and they can tell you straight away.

His truck is the ingot silver that you posted. I assumed your truck was the same. Would require paint.

Actually, I’m probably just going to leave it as is and just cut out the tow hook holes untill I can get the 4x4 valance. I was looking at some pictures on google and the original 4x4 valance actually hangs down a good ways lower than the 2wd valance I have now. I was under the impression that they were identical but one just had tow hook holes. Everything you guys had to offer was informative and helpful. Thanks again!
