Wow, $58,419 seems really high for a sticker price. That seems like almost the exact same truck as mine and my sticker was $52,025. Anyway, $40,688 seems like a really good price on that truck; better than I did...congrats!

I'm in Ontario, Canada so I guess that would be the reason for the high sticker price. $40688 is including all fees before any trade in amount. I'm not sure if I'll trade or not. I can probably get $2000-3000 more selling it privately.

TruckGal, some things to remember. If you buy out of state the dealer can only give you rebates that are in effect for your area. I founds that out when I tried to buy in Texas. You also pay taxes on the vehicle in the state you reside. Just for some help.

For my area the XLT current rebates are:

$2,250 Customer Cash (PGM #12376) + $1,000 XLT Customer Cash (PGM #12406) + $500 5.0L Customer Cash (PGM #12264) + $500 XLT Bonus Cash (PGM #12382) + $1,750 XLT Luxury Pkg. (PGM #97270) + $1,500 Trade-In Assistance Bonus Cash (PGM #34458) which requires trade-in of 1995 or newer vehicle, or terminate lease 30 days prior to or 90 days after new retail delivery + $1,500 Ford Credit Bonus Cash (PGM #12378, #12396) which requires Ford Credit financing.

I got all of them but for the 1,750 XLT luxury Pkg.

This is for the southeast region

I have also been looking in the northeast(NJ) trying to get 2013 screw4x4 Eco 6 1/2 bed with 302a package and all those goodies. msrp 44,190 - customer loyalty 4,792- factory rebate 3,500= 37,648 + tax 3,044.95+ doc fee 289+ license 376+ lien fee 25+ tire tax 7.50+ title 60= 41,450.45. So it was $8,292 off. I am thinking they need to come down at least 3k more before I would even consider it. Is it a NJ thing. This has been the best deal out of three dealers.

The dealer discount seems pretty good but the rebates should be more than that.

I am really into redundancy. Since I may have a warranty issue that requires my truck to be at the dealers for service work at anytime I decided to purchase two trucks.

And, since I was purchasing two, I was able to really beat them up on price........ $10.19 (for both).
