Now would be the time to do it. It'll be cheaper as they are gonna be taking the carrier apart to do the gears.

You have one nice looking truck but it is going to be a lot of fun with 4.10's. I put them in my 02 Mustang GT and that was the mod that gave me the most enjoyment.

I appreciate it. I found a shop that quoted $250 for labor (much more reasonable than other quotes I received) he will charge no extra labor to add in the limited slip.

Thanks a lot man. I've gotten more enjoyment driving this truck than any other vehicle that I've owned and I've had a few fun ones. 89 notch back ls with h/c/i. I had a bolt on 9f gt with 4.10's, a 2007 350z 6 speed, g35 coupe. And the truck just brings something different.

Don't get limited slip, get the Eaton True Trac, much better unit and does not wear out like the LS will.

That's actually what I will be getting. My fault, I thought that was considered a limited slip. Either way that is what he recommended and I've read quite a bit on it through this site and it seems like a pretty nice piece. Thanks for the heads up.
