Not so much a mod...but a conienience thing.

Back when I did my brakes, it was extremely hard to get the lug nuts off. Even with an impact wrench. I had to use a really long breaker bar to loosen them up.

Checking my underseat jack/lug wrench combo, and noticing the factory lug wrench was only about 1ft long. Knowing if I ever got a flat tire...id have a tough time getting the lugs off. I made/bought this...its a $12 breaker bar about 4ft long, ad a $4 21mm socket....from Harbor Freight Tools. Fits right under the seat perfectly.

Its next to the snow broom on the right, sorry for the bad pic.

Ive got one too.... Mine is a rachet breaker bar, like a socket wrench, but a breaker bar head. Youll probably kiss it if you ever need it.

I did this too, for my trailer. The cheap chinese alloy wheels on my trailer don't allow space for a proper lug wrench to fit in. A deep socket on a breaker bar fits like a glove!

Well....... New 2012 EB SCAB....

Put the fuse & relay in for the trailer 12V power.
Put my old Prodigy P1 controller in the factory location. I managed to snake it in w/o dismembering the instrument panel. And I spliced the two harnesses together, didn't buy the plug 'n play one.
Lowered the hitch head on the Reese for the trailer.
Found a set of Yakima Outdoorsman racks on Craigslist for half of what I could order them for. Good shape, too.
Bed mat is due today.
Satellite radio is due tomorrow.
Tailgate mat is on order.

  • AeroForce Interceptor scan guage using a ROUSH dash vent guage pod.

*Will be un/re-installing it tomorrow with an AutoMeter guage angle ring (for more betterer visibility) and a heat shield for the guage (after installation, I down-loaded the user manual and on the very last page it notes ..."Insulation should be placed behind the Interceptor if hot air is blown through this vent when the heater is on for example.". *sigh*
    .
  • Decals installed on the RH dash trim - 1953-6 truck crest and F-150
