Default What to look for on data log tune??

Hey guys,

I am contemplating running a tune but before I do I want to know what I should look for when data logging. What are the good/bad parameters etc. Hope someone can chime in and help me out. Id love to know what I am looking at and what I should be looking for.

Thanks!

I see all that stuff on my app on my phone which is nice. But I'm more concerned with how to read the data log that shows knock sensor etc. The stuff that a tuner would look for to be in safe range or not. I'm curious on what the range is for each item to look at.

Most tuners will ask to log.

RPM
Vehicle speed
Short and long term trims
MAF AD counts
Measured AFR
Throttle position
Pedal position
Spark advance
Knock
Load

As far as there limits, it really depends on the turner, how you use your truck, N/A or FI, what fuel you use and how far you want to push the tune.

How can I find out what the safe range is for each item?
