Default What I've learned in the 3 years since i joined this site. (WARNING: Sarcasm Ahead)

ANd please forgive any typos or auto corrects this is from my iPhone.

1. The Eco boost will drink enough accumulated water to self terminate the engine and driver at the worst possible time.
2. Exploding rear glass is so common that it should be disconnected immediately and is unsafe at any temperature.
3. Gas and oil do mix.
4. Scorpion tires, when truck is purchased new owner should call wrecker to haul truck to nearest tire dealer for immediate replacing.
5. Sony sound system, nav system, sync all suck and should either be ripped out and replaced or just simply be ignored.
6. Headlights are pitiable, why weren't HD INSTALLED SINCE THE 20th century.
7. Why doesn't my xlt trim have all the goodies as the platinums? Does Ford realize how much I'm having to spend to add these features to my truck?
8. Why can't ford get it right and jack these trucks up 5 inches with "35" as standard equipment?
9. Leaking roof mounted devices should not be a feature.
10. To get every thing I want shouldn't cost me $50,000 plus.
11. Where the hell is promised gas milage, mine only gets 16.9 in town and 21 on the highway.

I get a grin on my face every time I slide behind the wheel of my 2011 Eco supercrew platinum.

Thanks for enduring my vent.

My point is, I and many of owners I know have not had any of these issues, but reading this forums you would think these trucks are nothing but pieces of crap

13. The heater takes longer to warm up than a '63 ****** Jeep.

Aside from that I love my F-150

i think he's just summing up the general consensus of complaints, having my truck now for less than a month I found it to be an interesting read. I would hope this hasn't all happened to one person.

Having owned an LTZ Silverado, I can tell you ford isn't the only ones who charge more for the bells and whistles. I switched to ford bc they have options Chevy didn't offer, and has more backseat room. While I haven't had any of the issues the op has, I prefer my f150 to the Silverado.
