Default What I hate about this forum!

Life was good, I was just tooling along and the two days ago I dropped in here and read something. Reading this post is going to be an expensive mistake for me!

I now need to buy me some 2013 HID headlights for my 2011 FX2!

Once you start modding, it is very hard to stop!

The only thing that I really do not like about my truck is the headlights. I bought a set of SYLVANIA Silverstar Ultras before trying to make it better. I drive a lot at night, probably 70% of my driving time. I had been thinking about doing a projector retrofit and never have gotten around to that. This plug and play HID set looks very good to me right now.

I had over $30,000 in my last truck not counting the truck itself which cost $32,000. My car had over $10,000 in it. I'm sitting at $1,050 on this truck right now and I've owned it 4 months. Still need an $800 suspension, $2000 ring and pinion and limited slip, and about $1500 in stereo equipment, plus the $450 bed liner, custom exhaust. Blah blah blah. I should have never met my friends haha.

There's nothing I don't like about my truck...I just like to mod it.

I have no hobbies - I work two jobs - this is what I do - mod my truck to make it unique.

My windshield is tinted with 70% film and it is a bit dark at night. That combined with the low output headlights is why I think this mod will be great for me.

I got you toped. Came back after over two years away and ended up buying a new truck to replace the 2010. I didn't do it just for the HID's but they helped.

Oh and I have tint on the windshield too so I think you'll be happy.
