What is this garbage??
Anyone else notice their wire loom tape looks really ****ty? Like the plant kind of half-***** taped it up? Mine is starting to unravel everywhere and the truck doesn't even have 200 miles on it!
Do you think the dealer would do anything about this or would the brush me off as paranoid? In my mind this is unacceptable on a new vehicle.

I hate this recurring ****ing statement that everyone makes. Yes, it's a $33k truck, it's not a Maybach. Could be worse, it could all be setting on fire like my Silverado.
I don't know what you expect to see from your truck. These guys expect them to have the build quality of a Lexus. Should've bought a Lexus. It's loom tape, not the wiring itself. Loom tape is simply protection from pinching and some levels of heat.

A Ford employee is not responsible for that. I know a few engineers that work for Yazaki North America and other wiring harness companies that supply the Big 3 and all foreign manufactures with various wiring harnesses. Blame Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, not Ford. You've gotta love America's "low bid" mentality.

The extra tape is from assembly. The wiring harnesses are shipped the Ford. The tape is meant to break easy so when the trucks are assembled the wiring harnesses are unfoldeded as there plugged in. The extra tape is just a bi product. I spent an hour one day removing all that crap. Looks much nicer now. If you lightly pull the extra it comes right off without disrupting the harness.

If unravling tape is your biggest issue on your new truck, you're doing good!
Like others sais, you could have taped up the loose ends faster than you taking pics and posting them here!
