What features are included in the "Texas Edition"?

I sold the OP my spare TX badges - but to support the notion that this is a dealer package - there doesn't appear to be a traditional placement location for the badges. Sometimes they are low like in the pic above - sometimes they are immediately beneath the F150 logo, sometimes they are on the driver side underneath the F150 logo, sometimes on the passenger side. It's wherever the sales guy put it when they took delivery of a chrome package XLT.
Texans... we love our state. And it's a cool freakin badge. I see it all the time, 50 times a day so I'm desensitied, but I can definitely see it meaning more to a displaced Texan so I'm happy to help the OP out.

I'd like to see more photos of where owners placed their Texas Edition emblems, like HankHill. Anyone have pictures they'd like to share?

The dealer placed mine so I did not have the option to put them anywhere. I also have only the one emblem in the back shown. But I think they would look very nice, one on each side (since you have two) right above the Ecoboost emblem.

Slightly off-topic; however, coincidentaly, while I was at the gym this afternoon, I observed an '08 F-150 parked there, with California Limited Edition badges affixed on both front fenders below the F-150 badge.
Looked a little (too) much and overdone to me. The front and rear CA license plates will suffice for me, on any truck I own.

Exclusively in the state of Texas? They sell them here in Missouri. It's the Texas/Oklahoma edition. I guess Missouri is holding out for the SHO me edition Taurus.

My FX2 has Texas/Oklahoma Edition listed on the window sticker, but thankfully has no badges on the truck. I have no idea why it's on the window sticker as all FX2's have running boards and has nothing to do with my wheel upgrade.

Now that I have my truck, I was planning on installing the Texas Edition emblems. But I just learned this week that my employer approved my transfer back to Austin.
While I love the emblems, I really wanted them for a little Texas pride when I was living away from Texas. Seems less important to have them now, since I'm moving back home. Besides, I have a Texas shaped hitch cover.

I thought the Texas Edition gave you the abilty to cross three lanes of traffic without looking. Run any red light or stop sign in your path. Drive at least 15 mph over the speed limit. And the ability to put your rubber boots upside down between the cab and bed.
