I mean if you’re trying to catch me in a technicality ya got me. When I say electrical I’m referring to aftermarket alarm, aftermarket audio equipment, aftermarket lights that use a switch, etc.

Next time I’ll be more specific for those certain individuals out there.

Thanks for the lesson, bud.
Here's another lesson, learn how to use the word BRAKE. You take a break from work, you hit the brake to stop your vehicle.

The Wires and Connectors are not Ford so it might be something the dealer put on or something that wasn't there from the factory. Any of those mods let someone in the truck to work on it or did you do it all yourself?

It is a dealer add on Ford accessory or aftermarket accessory.

Also going by your signature here it looks like you added on plenty of electrical accessories, throttle body is electrical as is your superchips dashpaq, superchips amp'd and the Granatelli MAFS
I call it an emergency brake also, it’s mechanical and a backup to the hydraulic system. I actually had to use it once when my hydraulic brakes failed, it worked. (Not this truck)

When you put your foot on the brake pedal, and it goes to the floor, it’s an EMERGENCY!

I knew what you meant by " E brake" and I'm sure many others did. Some people have nothing better to do than to correct people on things like that, or grammer mistakes Etc. They get some kind of enjoyment from it....or maybe just bored?

Anyway i agree with the other responses it has to do with an aftermarket alarm/remote start. I had the same thing in another vehicle.

thanks for the support. I was just trying to find an answer to my question. He obviously knew what I was referring to and I get the grammatical mistake but anyways...

yeah I haven’t had time yet to trace out the switch. I assume it has something to do with the alarm (which is not aftermarket and is originals to the factory/dealer. Maybe the dealer installed something extra. I just need to trace it out. Just curious what the switch is for on the alarm system.

I just need to trace it out. Thanks for the help

I knew what he meant but rather than allow someone to look illiterate and making a fool of them selves I like to correct on things like that, it's called enriching ones vocabulary. The English language they say, is one of if not the hardest to conquer. If by my helping another person use it properly is wrong then I don't want to be right.

If you or anyone else don't like it, Tough!! Add me to your ignore list and never worry about it again.

^^Did I need to do that? No. Is it petty? Yes.

Why worry about semantics when we can just enjoy the trucks we all have in common?

Common core education is the problem not the solution. Figure it out.
