I apologize in advance if this is an ignorant question, but what is the difference between traction control and advanced traction control? I know that you can push the trac control button to turn it off, then hold it down to turn off "advanced" trac off. What is the difference between the two?

 

The level of computer assistance in traction control. Traction control off you will notice that it will still assist after a bit and advance trac off it will not assist at all.

There is probably more detailed info than that but that is basically the difference.

 

Thanks. That is what I thought but "trac off" just doesn't make much since then (to me). Maybe "reduced"?

 

Would definitely benefit from a display like Trac Reduced or something.
