What did you trade in for your 2011?

Mine is the turbo model and it is rated at 18/25 MPG. My normal driving is prob. 75% highway and in the summer I'd still get 24-25 mpg out of it. On a road trip to Michigan last June my average was 30.5, AC on and running at 75-80 most of the way so if you wanted you might be able to do even better. With soft/sticky snow tires, long idles to warm it up in the morning and winter gas I'm down to like 22 MPG overall. Worst tank was about 18 MPG and I got that during our first snow fall "testing" the AWD. You wouldn't believe how nicely these cars drift around a snow-covered corner once you turn stability control off. The regular 4 cyl is rated for 30 or 31 MPG highway I think and the 6 cyl is rated for the same as mine. Overall it's been an awesome car- with snow tires this drives better in the snow than any of my trucks in the past (88 F-150, 98 Jimmy, 03 Silverado and 08 Tacoma) with normal A/T tires and 4WD. It just isn't a truck and I miss having one so in April I'm gonna start calling Ford and GM dealers and see who will sell me a truck with what I want options wise for the cheapest.

I traded a 2008 Grand Cherokee diesel. Loved this truck but not enough place for my huntcamp. Still, it was the best ever truck I had ( 4Runner, Pathfinder) Never buy a Japan truck again.

I sold my 2006 VW Jetta Tdi. Trading in my 1991 4runner for $3300 recycle your ride. I paid $9800 for the runner 12 years a go. It runs great looks like Swiss cheese and not worth a nickel. Now I'm just waiting on my new Xlt offroad screw.
