Noticed some wet spots behind my driver side front tire, near the strut — what do you think could be the cause? Directly above it is the reservoir for the coolant, but everything there seems fine. Maybe the strut? 2010 XLT 4.6L 3V 2WD SuperCab.

 

Step 1) Identify the liquid in question. Is it coolant or an oil product? If oil, what color?

 

I don’t think it’s from the strut. You might check all lines in the vicinity. I think there is some brake line right above that might be a pinhole in one of them.
