Actually I believe the (electric) Trailer brakes will still work, I believe this is the "trailer" battery charging relay and fuse...

I appreciate the effort someone took to update and provide detail with documentation about specifics many of us may have not fully understood no matter the age of the post.

This thread was a huge help to me today. Just bought an old 2012 with 106k and it was missing the relay and fuse. The previous owner towed a boat so I guess he never used it.

The dealer wouldn't sell me the fuse and relay unless I provided the part number. Very weird. Service couldn't help me either without first paying a diagnostic fee. How lame is that. So this thread saved me a diagnostic fee.

Truck wasn't charging my travel trailer. Thanks to you guys I found the relay and fuse in my glove box.
