Default Well this sucks

Started the truck up today, wiped all the snow off and jumped in. Notice the heat wasn't blowing, a little odd. Cranked it up and nothing. Heat or AC will not blow. Heated seats work but no heat. So now have to miss a morning of work so I can sit in the Starbucks across the road from the dealer and wait!!!

Truck is less then 2 months old and we are going on a road trip on Tuesday with it so it needs to be fixed ASAP! Not liking the odds tho... Any ideas what it is?

Well here comes my first look at ford service.

stuck or damaged blend door or actuator in the climate control system possibly.
But it is strange that you still get no heat, usually it would get stuck one way or the other so either ac or heat would work but not switch, my experience is limited tho since my door/actuator assembly would stick on cold mornings and had to be replaced.

Do you hear any pops/clicks coming from the passenger foot well area when you change the system from heat to ac or defrost to auto/foot/face etc?

No don't hear any noise at all. Change the temp, did the auto setting, full defrost, full AC and nothing. Turned it off and on a couple of times. Heated seats work, that's it. It's also the coldest and snowiest day of the year!

Was the door actuator you speak of?

They are these little "doors" inside the ducts that flop open or lock closed by using an actuator to allow air to either flow through the heater core to warm it up or direct it to the ac for cool. Or as in your case it sounds like they are stuck in outside "vent" mode

On a better note everything in these new trucks is computer controlled rather than vacuum like the old ones. So it could be as easy as them reprogramming your climate control module and everything will be fine. Hopefully that's all it is! Best of luck & keep us posted!

Just sounds like the blower motor went. This happened in my last truck.
