Default Weirdness

My 2014 ecoboost has about 190k miles now. We were pulling a trailor of ATV's Saturday in a torrential downpour, when the wrench popped up briefly. I happened to be stopped at the time, so I hit ok and put into park. As soon as i did the wrench disappeared but the speedometer and fuel economy didnt register anything (see below). I was afraid to stop not knowing if it would restart and since all the other gauges looked fine, i drove home. Got home without incident, restarted and its all good. The attached pic was taken going about 50mph. Just a weird electrical glitch?

That would suck. I sincerely hope you're wrong. I had it replaced two years ago.

Sorry. Its a 2011. Dont know what I was thinking and no it was an after market. This truck has had numerous electrical glitches over the past 2 years.
