Weird symbol in SYNC NAV Status bar
So I got a new sub & amp put into my F150 today. Also got a nav/tv piece (not exactly sure the brand) so I can watch dvds and use the GPS while driving. Now in the status bar of the sync nav, an "R" in what looks like a briefcase appears. I attached a pic. Anyone have any idea what it means? Thanks in advance!

I wish I could answer your question but I'm curious what you got to unlock the DVD / GPS when driving? Was it a lockpin (they run roughly $200-ish, if I recall). I'd like to unlock my unit but I don't want to pay $$$ to do it.

Here's what my friend said he installed... Nav tv all sync. But I think you're gonna spend a couple hundred with either piece. My piece was more expensive but more reliable according to him. Sometimes the lockpick frys and will stop working. Good luck!

Not sure what that is but I would guess as well something to do with backup camera.
I have had the nav pic on several vehicles and works great, easy to install and works well. Not ever had an issues with it.
