Warning to all - takes seconds to pop our door locks!!

Granted, something like that is illegal in some states / locales, but he was getting frustrated. It actually worked, the sound pressure level it produced was brutal, and even though his car was broken into a couple more times, nobody could ever endure being inside the car long enough to take anything. I suppose if a thief was determined enough he could wear hearing protection, but that would have to be one determined thief!!

I do like idea of hooking up train horns to the alarm too. You could in theory set it on a delay switch with a couple Wolos under the drivers seat. This would really screw their eat drums up for life.

Right, but should be able to buy a spare keypad entry panel, fill the keyhole with bondo, sand smooth. Prime, have painted to match. If you know of a place that paints a lot of Ford stuff, and have a good relation with them you might even be able to get it painted for near free, if you can wait until they are painting something else in the same color.

The same thing happened to me as well and all they took was my owners manual. Luckily, I did not have my keypad code card in it. They messed up my door a little and the keypad cover (plastic). Ford wanted $300+ for a new keypad assy and you can't buy the parts separately. I put Jimmi Jammers in both front doors and a keyhole plug.

And my repair is coming to $698 as they kneed my door too and they are going to do a PDR on it.

The reason ford has not addressed it is because the thugs just break windows instead. On both our Sienna and my Tundra, the keyhole thing does not work. Instead the thugs just break in the window and grab whatever. I was in a Fed-Ex office for a total of 45 seconds and had this happen on a rainy day (dropping prepaid packages for shipping). What a crappy way to end a Friday... So, I guess I would rather have the thugs push in the keyhole as opposed to breaking out my $300 window + paint damage + dash and door panel damage + leather seat damage. My truck was lucky and it was just the window (and the laptop charger in my backpack). The van was over $1500.00 due to the paint and interior damage. Now I just keep my stuff out of site and hope for the best.

Update:
Truck is repaired and looks awesome!! The body shop I had picked has done work for me before. And just like last time, I'm extremely happy with the work performed. If you are in or near Jax, Fl, I recommend going to O'Steen Auto Body Shop for repairs. It's a small family owned shop that's certified to work on the high end expensive imports but still treats my "cheap" truck like gold.
Since the repair was done I took the truck next to get an aftermarket alarm. I had the Viper 5704 installed and the two way remote gives me piece of mind. Later on I might add the GPS module so that I can track the truck if it is stolen.
