Default Volume **** Issues!

Hey folks! I drive a 2010 Lariat and lately I've been having some issues with the volume ****. When I turn the radio up, it shows the bars indicating the volume increase then immediately will decrease. Sometimes it's just a click or two and sometimes it almost cuts it off.

I noticed also that sometimes when I hold it between clicks it will actually go all the back down to zero. The steering wheel still works OK, but I still like to use the volume a good bit, especially when doing drastic volume changes.

Any ideas what the issue is?

These ***** are optical encoders. There are basically 2 sensors per ****. when you rotate it uses this to determine the direction of rotation and how many "clicks" you have turned it.

Your's have gone out. You'll need a new control board for the radio if you want it to work again.
