viper 5901 remote starter f150 2012 ecoboost
so i finished installing the alarm system today and every thing work except one aspect.
remote starter works when start with the viper remote, bypass works and everything.
but i don't need to insert the key to drive the truck
further more, the engine doesn't shut off on the truck when i remove the key, i have to turn off the engine with the remote starter button!
this makes no sense! can someone point me to the right direction!
thanks for your help

The wire you are looking for is purple with a white stripe located at the brake switch. The wire off the starter is brown located on a 5 pin connector. The other wires are black/white, violet/white, brown, gray, and blue/white. If you have that wire connected double check and make sure you have the correct wire at the brake switch. If I remember correctly there are 2 purple with white wires at the switch..

i fixed the problem it seamed to be the xpresskit didn't program properly, i tried it again and it works now, engine shuts off once the break is pressed.
last thing i have to fix is the park light out put, when theres an error, the system is supposed to make the break lights blink according to the error, this how ever doesn't happen.
do you place the light output fuse in the positive or negative terminals on the main unit? what wire do you connect to at the SJB according ?
thanks for you help in advance much appreciated!!

anything thing, i bet someone here would know the answer faster than waiting for directed electronics to get back to me.
i have the audio sensor, tilt sensor, and double guard stinger shock sensor the constant power to these sensors what fuse should be put inline? or is it even required, i assume yes.
the tilt sensor came pre installed with a 1amp inline fuse but the others nothing, can i tap all three sensors off the 1 amp fuse?

Your parking light wiring is going to be Blue with a yellow stripe. The yellow may look green. But the starter should be for a positive output. So place the fuse on the positive side. Got anymore questions feel free to pm me.

joe i sent you a pm
rally the 5901 does not come with a proximity sensor but i did buy it.
it has to be installed in the centre console (centre of the truck) i actually removed the whole top frame of the centre console and ran the wire under neath to the rear were the heating vents for the back seats pop out. it was a mission let me tell you!
but i haven't connected it yet as I'm confused how to wire it. maybe jopey can help me/us?
right now i have the audio sensor, and double stinger shock sensor wired together into the option mux sensor port on the 5901 main unit.
i also have the tilt sensor wired to the instant trigger option (i believe H1/8)
i just finished installing today the back up battery and second mini penzo siren, man is that thing loud! good luck who ever thinks they all be able to hot wire my truck, that siren is right above the break pedal, your ears will start to bleed
still waiting for my bit righter to Bitwriter to arrive so i can properly configure the main unit aswell i have to change the default for manual transmission to automatic in order for the remote starter to work.
also have to figure out were to connect the defroster wire lol
