Default Vibration problems

Drove a single cab lwb 4x4 with the 4.6L only 92k miles. Everything seemed perfect but for a vibration even stepping off the accelerator. Buddy says it could be the 2 part drive shaft needs cleaning and greasing. Any other ideas?

Can you feel it through the brake pedal? Does the entire truck vibrate? Does it do while stationary only or when driving?

I can feel it through acceleration slightly, but not when stationary and worse when just stepping off the gas pedal. No braking. It actually lessens when stepping on the brakes.

Sounds like a bad universal joint on the rear drive shaft.

Why would pressing the brakes have any affect on the driveshaft?

This suggests more than your disc is loose, so we're back to something around the hub bearing area.
