Vibration at 35mph
I still have the loaner (it's a 5.0 not 6.2) while they continue to try to isolate the vibration. The new drive shaft didn't cure it. They said Ford was now aware of the problem, no other truck has had this same problem.
I too have this issue but starts at low speeds and comes in again worse at 80ish. With trailer attached it shakes the passenger seat so bad I think it is going to break free. Came straight from the dealer that way. informed dealer before taking delivery and they stated could be due to flat spots on tires and to drive it a while. 2k miles on it now and a rebalance on the tires and still vibrating. Any luck on a fix?
Got it back late this afternoon. They said they had to balance the driveshaft. The invoice shows a new drive shaft and pinion gear. Now that everything's been gone over, it rides smooth as can be.
I noticed a nice silver SuperCab on the lot. I like the regular cab, but we could use a little more room. I'll check it out Saturday.

That was an ordeal. They had a nice XLT SC with chrome and some other extras as the cheapest on the lot, just under 32,000. My truck, with 800 miles on it, was appraised at 16,500, about 7000 less than it's sticker. That made it impossible to do, but I love my XL, so it's all good.
Way too much, $39,000?
I took a look under there to see how the new drive shaft looks. I think they used a grinder to get it balanced. I also noticed how nice the exhaust pipes look, going 2 into one way back from the motor. Looks high tech.

I have had the same issue and at 500 mile call dealer & was told drive it see if it goes away. At 800 miles I called back & was told when it gets worse bring it in. now i have 1100 miles and still there and talked to dealer again, they have yet to look at it but said ~ since you work in the business and can look at it see if wheels are out of balance. I have checked and believe i have the same driveshaft out of balance. The vibration goes away in neutral or if i let off the gas. that's not a balance problem its a drive-train issue. I will be visiting my dealer I am hoping this week or next to resolve the problem.
HERE'S ONE FOR YA!!!!!!!!
I just got my NEW F150 back from the Dealer today with 1800 mile (now over 1900) had a vibration at 35-50 (bad at 40-45). The dealer had it for 2 DAYS to balance tires and index the fronts. I told them & it was in writing the seat & floor vibrated and coming from the rear.
They put 100 miles on my truck the vibration now starts at 20-50 and it's worse plus the Service Supervisor tells me ALL F150's VIBRATE at those speeds, I had it out at 70mph and it was smooth. Then said its there caricaturist of the truck & FORD KNOWS IT~~ NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT ~ WTF last ford I'll ever buy new again. I looked at him said I told you 40-45 was the issue not 70 & he shrugged his shoulders then he went back to work ~ THE FORD DEALER BLOW OFF !!!!!!!
Do they really think people are stupid? I had to call them at 4:45pm to see what was even going on after dropping it off at 7:30 am, we'll need it over night & call you. Nothing I had to call at at 1pm today & was told we are waiting to test drive it after balancing the wheels ~ really? They finally called at 3pm.
So I guess if it's in warranty they don't rush and work on it only when there's nothing else to do in the shop & the Appointment at 7:30 means nothing, my time is worthless to them!!
I will take it to work fix it myself & give Ford the bill, now my steering wheel vibrates at 20mph and didn't before and never did. I am sorry now I bought the extended warranty knowing they aren't gonna fix it right. I now really don't trust Ford Dealers Service Dept. - 2 days to balance 4 tires REALLY?????

My '12 doesn't wobble or vibrate at all at any point between 10-70?
99% of my 31k miles were at 30-50 mph driving and I've never noticed that. I haven't had ANY tsbs done other than the intercooler thing.
Doesn't sound normal to me.
