Default VEhicle health report???

I took a out of town and kept getting asked by the sync system if I wanted to run a vehicle health report? I'm not sure why? I selected to run report but nothing happened? It still asked me about every hour? Anyone dealt with this before?

I don't know why you are getting badgered, but you can sync your truck online at the sync site and it will do the health report thingy.

You can turn the feature off. My Wife's SYNC system ask us the same question a ton of time on our way to Florida. I followed the instruction in the SYNC manual. It's been awhile back, so the details have been lost. Hope this helps.

Hook your cellphone to Sync. Run report. It'll ask again once the report expires.

It's a service sales gimmick.

My '10 XLT asked me once if I wanted to run it.

I replied, "No, never" and have never heard it again..........Maybe I hurt it's feelings?

Maybe it thought I said, "STFU" !! (Which I have before.....)

I removed/disabled my Sync. It won't ask me about the Vehicle Health Report ever again.

Default Vehicle Health Report

Had the same issue with the "voice" asking if we wanted to run a vehicle health report. Manual was ZERO help, so tried SYNC online help. We never paired a phone, so have just been turning the power off and back on to get past the voice message. Finally got fed up with it after being badgered about every day and contacted SYNC. Online help was no help, so finally they provided a phone number to contact. 800-392-3673, option 1, option 3. After about 1/2 hour on the phone with the rep, finally they figured it out. We were never able to get to the vehicle health report menu by following the SYNC manual instructions. It was not at all obvious how to get to the menu needed. The following path will get you to the necessary menu to turn off the "automatic vehicle report" feature,

Ignition Key On
Press Phone
Sequence through using the up/down arrow until you get to "Return"
Press "OK"
Bluetooth Device will be displayed.
Sequence through using the arrow key until you get to "Return"
Press "OK"
You will then get to "Exit"
Sequence through until you get to "Vehicle Health Report" You will see
Phone Menu, Phone Redial, Call History, Phonebook, Text Messages, Phone Settings, Sync services, 911 Assist, Vehicle Health Report and system setting. When you get to Vehicle Health Report, Press "OK"

User Pref will be displayed
Press "OK"
Auto Reports will be displayed
Press "OK"
Auto Report on?
Press "seek" to change to "off"
Auto Report off?
Press "OK"
Press "phone"

This should reset the Vehicle Health Report to Off.
