Default Uplevel Message Center

Looking for info. I have a 2012 lariat with the Uplevel Message Center. My 2012 has a blank slot in the "Gage Mode"....transmission Temp>Control Trac>blank
Can this blank slot be uploaded with something ( like the compass seen on newer F150's). My dealer was trying to be helpful but when they hooked up their comp they said there is no updates. If it's Blank can't U program anything in this slot.
Has anyone had this slot uploaded?
Is there an aftermarket product?

I was told it was for night time driving. You can put it on the blank screen so nothing is blinding you at night.

the manual just said Blank with no other info. Dealership said it was for future updates. Are all F 150 this way.
