Man U guys are on a different level… I know JDunk is local here in the valley I’m tempted to wanna hear his system but afraid it’ll open a whole different wormhole. I’m already in for an 1800 watt Audiopipe amp and 2 American bass 12” subs, going to buy a new amp this Saturday (3000 watts or better) I’m about to do doors as well and head unit soon. I mean seriously is it that much better sound quality than CD? I’m asking but I don’t really wanna know

You're in Phoenix?
Just saying...

we might even save you money...I'd come meet us before you spend more $$. You'd be amazed what people have in their cars and how good it sounds.

We have some VERY good people in this group. Usually have people from major car audio companies present...that work on things that are super cool.

He's helped me plan out my system. I know the system I put together will sound awesome when done.
If you're in his area, I'd take a listen - wish I could.

Default New wiring diagram for Helix DSP Mini

So will be powering my rear speakers and the front center channel using one of the Alpine amplifiers, below. The front channel will pass through the DSP, so I can have driver and passenger sound stages. I need to visualize the system, so I have a clean install.

Wiring diagram for Alpine amplifiers and Helix DSP Mini to be mounted onto an ABS plastic sheet behind the rear seat.

2014 Ford F-150 AmpPro amp bypass: It’s kind of messy, but it makes sense to me. If I get noise at low power levels, then I will run ground to battery, otherwise the rear seat wall has a lot of ground points. When I’m done, I’ll post some Picts of the final product.

**Waiting to receive Helix DSP later this month.

...Seriously tho I might have to come thru on a meet up one of these days, I lean towards the basshead side (even at 50 yrs old ) so I don't know how that'd work but I have been wanting to hear some systems besides mine although after reading you guys stuff I'm not sure mine even qualifies as a "system"

Default Setting up Helix DSP Mini

Setting up I/O & crossovers. Channels A,B,C & D will be for front left & right component speakers and channel E is for front center and lastly, channel F is for rear subwoofer. The purple line on the display (above) shows the center channel.

Not 100% sure. I've only used rca inputs. I know you can switch between inputs, not sure if you can run them at the same time. That would be a great question for the dealer you bought it from, or reach out to Doug Dobson at MSC America (he is one of the main tech gurus for the helix). Or go over to car audio junkies and post this question over there.

Thanks. I think it’s probably not possible, but I want to know for sure. I’m itching to start the wiring…

Hey, do you use the base expander, or other Helix base enhancement functions on your DSP?
