Default upgrade to sync 3 in a 2010

Anyone know if I can upgrde to the new sync 3 equipment in a 2010. Here
s a pic of what I have. I upgraded from my old 2003 Larit FX4 to a 2010 HD.

I don't think it is impossible, it would just be really expensive and so much would have to be replaced and then hope that you can get everything working correctly. Read the Sync 2 4.2" to 8" Sync 3 MFT thread.

You can easily go from 2 to 3, but that's it. You would literally have to rewire the vehicle to convert a Sync 1 to Sync 3. I swapped Sync 2 to Sync 3 in my 2014.

Ok thanks fellas. I thought 09 to 14 were the same wiring? Like my old 03 was the same from 97. I have only seen upgrades for 13 and up. So they changed the wiring in 13? And there is a couple 16s at the recyclers with the new equipment.

Well had a good read, guess its the Clarion hard drive that is the big issue. In 15 they changed the wiring and the HD.
