Upgrade to the 2016?
Have the Platinum 4x4 2012 with 52k - not sure what the trade would be, but is the 2016 a big enough improvement to make the move $ wise?
Mine has been great and has all I think I need yet hearing Sync 3, seats, newer facelift on 16's would be something to consider. Could jump on a 15 for the discounts, but that doesn't seem such a good move...leaving off Sync 3
Keep on driving what I have, or make the jump to 16 or even the 15?

I feel that the new models has some cool features, the panoramic sunroof and the remote tailgate are my favs. But those features alone don't justify me trading in my fully loaded 2013 fx4.
I'd wait until I'm at 90k miles before I'd trade in. I'm currently at 31k (within 2 years), which means I have another 4 years or so before I trade in. For now, I'm just going to enjoy my truck and build memories with it.
BTW, the value of the trucks really drop after 100k, just fyi.

Agree. It's the same truck the same engine (except the 2.7) with a few small tweaks. A new transmission is major enough with the other tweaks to tip scales imo. Of course the price diff is always a factor. I traded a base lariat 11 with Eco (40k miles) for a loaded leftover '13 with every option for $5k price diff... If you found a similar deal it's worth trading to a '16.
