Default UPDATE: A Couple of My Simple Mods...PICS

I know that I showed my truck and its mods not too long ago, but thought that I would just show a couple of my most recent, simple modifications that I think adds a nice little touch to my truck.

In my most recent pic, I had my front windows tinted to match the back at 15% (I believe...) which is dark enough for me. While I would take it totally blacked out, I happen to enjoy seeing at night! And I also had some window deflectors/rain guards installed as well. Enjoy...

Before/Stock:

Lift/Level, Wheels/Tires, Tonneau, Steps

Notice how you can see into the driver's side of the cab and right out through to the car parked next to me! I don't like this one bit.

15%Tinted Front Windows & Rain Guards

I'm surprised at how much of a difference this little change makes. I am very happy!

Nice looking truck!

Parking a lifted/leveled 4x4 truck with no steps in a handicap spot grabs my attention more than anything.

LOL...thanks Gerald.

In regards to parking in the handicapped spot, unfortunately I've got a really bad right leg that's been thru the ringer. I actually made a thread about it...https://www.f150forum.com/f2/im-back...ome-read-4776/ caution: it's got some pretty gruesome pics.) But the lift/level isn't really too high for me. I'd have preferred a 6" lift but arthritis is a mother...

There was a 1" spacer that was back there that was stock and all that I had put in was a 1" block in the rear additionally. The pics do look like more than inch though, so I don't know...

so you stacked the original 1 5/8 block with and additional 1" block? so you have 2 blocks in there on each side? sorry for all the questions, i'm getting my lift done tommorow and was just curious how it will look.

Oh no problem. Sorry for not being clear. I don't much compared to a lot of guys on this board, but I try to share when I can.

And yes, you are exactly right. I had the original OEM 1 5/8" block back there and added on an additional 1" block on each side of the truck. I was just going to get the 2.5 level in the front but the shop suggested to get the lift so that the truck wouldn't be dragging *** when I'm hauling something. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll do my best to answer.

Damn man you been through some ****! I had a broken neck in a truck wreck and had surgery and had to wear a halo to stabilize my neck and head.I was hospitalized for 6 months!Luckily it happened on the job (armored truck)and was covered by worker's comp.I also have a pickup that is a stretch entering and exiting
