Default Unexpected issue anyone else seen it?

Ok so when i did the timing ( see other threads) I put in the new High volume oil pump and yes I changed to the brown lower pressure spring. Now im getting seepage from all 4 vvt seals. I figured it was just old seals but bought a brand new valve cover and still have seepage perhaps even worse. Im wondering it the oil pump is increasing pressure to the point that its leaking from the normally sealed area. Wasnt a problem before and I did notice pressure rides higher than it did before. needle points to 5 oclock or 5:30 ish when warm.
Anyone else try the pump out yet and do you have issues?

I put new valve cover on awhile ago and it took me 3 tries to not have seepage around those front sensors,, i think its just really easy to get a tear or nick in the seal. Sorry no real help but I feel your oain

ok so at 280,000 miles approx, I've decided that I'm past the service manuals as gospel.
Since ive installed the HV oil pump and now have stabilizer as part of normal lubrication the pressure is more than the seals were designed for. So after some testing with easily removable gasket forming liquids Im now just filling the interior of the vvt seals and the perimeter with the same sealant specified for the crankcase motocraft TA-357. Will update if seepage/spray is contained.

Is the PCV valve OK, or are you getting crankcase airflow?

pcv valve is new, rh valve cover and seals are new. Only real changes are the HV pump and the mishimoto catch cans. Leak is worst on rh side but occurring on lh side as well. Catch can does have trace oil collecting so I can only assume airflow is working as expected.

You have suction on the PCV valve hose? With that high of miles blowby becomes more likely to be hard to control. The turbos make it harder. I don't beleive a high volume oil pump will cause more blowby.
