Default Uneven Brake Wear

Went to have my tires rotated/balanced and when I looked in to see progress I noticed something funny. What do you guys think? 5,600 miles.

I'm going to take it in for warranty. I'm sure they'll just resurface them if anything. Right?

Ask the dealer to look up the tsb's on your truck. Not sure what exact time it affected but there was one on the whole brake system in 11.

Most all brake pads have metal embedded in them, that's why they call them semi-metallic. Not sure but ceramic pads may not.

How is this uneven wear? Are you going by sight only? I've had rotors look like that just trying to understand what you are posting here.

I have the same thing only much more dramatic. The inside brake pads (front) are only contacting about 2/3 of the rotor. Each rotor has a rusty 'patch' on the inside. The thing is, the truck brakes fine, no shudder.

The dealer failed the safety inspection for "Rusty rotor" without pointing out the obvious that the rust was a symptom, not a cause.
