Glad to see this thread, I just purchased 2 of these yesterday and this with the pics as well answers my questions too. They should fit great under the tonneau cover and with the mat below, looks like lots of room to spare.

Shouldn't be an issue... I have a backflip and bedrug and everything fits! The only issue I had was installing them and everything seemed perfect.....then I loaded the drivers side with hitch tri-ball, spare jack , tie downs and stuff. The weight made the case miss the connector, just had to adjust with the load and then all good.

Am debating whether to get just one (not sure which side yet) vs. a pair. Am getting a cap so no regular toolbox will be going in the bed. Figure jumper cables and some standard tools. Maybe a tow strap. How is the capacity on these?

Just got these put in today, very nice. 8in wide ea roughly. Still room between them for sheets of plywood.
