Under-clearance for Extang Solid Fold
I'm interested in getting a locking, hard tonneau cover, and preferably one that folds. However, I'm concerned about the clearance under the cover because I want to be able to carry something that's just taller than the top of the bed caps.
Can anyone with an Extang Solid Fold tell me how tall it is under it in the highest and lowest spots? Maybe +/- from the top of the bed caps?
Are there any locking, folding tonneaus that add just over an inch of clearance over the sides?

The cover is absolutely flat on the underside and the spring loaded locks tuck into a channel in the underside of the cover when the panels are folded over onto each other.
Because the cover sits on top of your bed rails, you need only measure from the bed of your truck to the top of the bed rails to determine what is available.

I don't think you will find a tonneau that increases bed height. Usually they keep them as low profile as possible because it looks better. The solid fold is flush with the top as it's made from thick aluminum. I have it on my truck. You will be better off with a canopy.
