Default Uncomfortable Seats!

So my 2010 XLT is just about to hit 90k. I love everything about it...except the seats. Adjustments, aftermarket cushions, seat covers, I've tried them all, and I still find myself squirming after about 20 minutes or so. I drive a lot, and am hoping to keep the truck for another 100k or so, so fixing this issue is a priority.

I'm curious if anyone has experienced this as well, and done anything about it. Re-upholstery? Seat swaps? Aftermarket seating? Any input is much appreciated.

Not liking the seats?? Thats a first
The only thing that let me choose of keeping the truck over the FJ Cruiser was in cabin comfort.

Yeah, it's not something I've ever had an issue with before in a vehicle, so never really had to think about it. If my driving habits were different I wouldn't be as concerned, but it seems to be a cumulative thing that just gets progressively more annoying.

ride around in a focus for a week, that will make your truck seem like a lazy boy.

I hated my 04 seats also. Chevy does one thing right for me and thats the seats. (at least in the older vehicles).

My 14 seats are glorious.....

I'll take your word for it! I feel like the seats in older vehicles worked better for me as well...newer seats may be more orthopedically correct, but there's something to be said for free-form squishiness. My first car was a '99 Buick Century, and those seats were amazing.

I'm curious which seats you've got in your '14, and if you know off-hand if they're any different from what was put in the '10's.

They are whatever comes with the 402a pkg in a fx4.

No idea on 2010 vs 2014 though. sorry.

My favorite seats ever were in my 99 yukon. My back certainly isnt ortho correct either.

Im also the guy who has a 20yr old recliner in the living room cause the new ones arent saggin in the right spots.

I really like the seats in my '14, HOWEVER, best seats ever? The ones out of a 2000 GMC Suburban i used to own... Those things made Lazyboy recliners look like a bed of nails.

I have a 2013 XLT and I absolutely love the seats, no idea what the difference is between these and the '10.

There ergonomic seats with lumbar. I don't think their supposed to be plush. I am putting leather covers on mind. ( clazzio), maybe I should put padding under it?

From what ive seen clazzios fit tight. Can't imagine you will get padding under it.
