Those Goodyear Duratracs mounted on the BMF Novacanes look so good on your truck. The Duratracs are on my wish list but I must resist until the exhaust, IC and tune are completed.

Thanks Pat. Yeah I'm loving how she looks. It's like a pretty girl, you just can't stop staring

I'll have to admit though these duratracs are louder than I thought they'd be so far. I'm going to get some more miles on them then report back. For your 2wd plat, I'd opt for a little less aggressive, but I don't know what all you use the truck for.

Yeah you've got to get those other goodies done first. You might have one of the quickest trucks around after those mods. That full custom exhaust you got in the works is gonna be sweet. Get that going so everyone can see what's up.

So I'm doing tint and nerf bars next. I was going to go AMP for look and function, but I could use the money somewhere else and I'm not convinced I like the no bar/step look. So I need a little help help from you guys. Below are pics without the chrome bars (with chrome bars are on pages 1 and 2), and some steps I am considering. Keep in mind I am trying to be be a little different than just the regular nfab which i do like. Help a brotha out here and let me know which ones you like.

Options are no bars/Amp steps (trying to avoid this option)

Great lookin truck!

You should check out NFab bars. My cousin has a 6-step set on her FX4 and it looks awesome. Think it would do the same for yours

How much rake did you maintain with the 1.5" level? I'm going to be adding a OEM 4x4 Platty rear block (1.5") to my FX2 before I level but I'm trying to maintain a bit of rake, as well.

Thanks, I'm liking how she's coming along. Well I have to have something, so your vote would be the amp/no step look? There's about a 10% chance I go that route due to money and that I need the step for functional reasons ie getting in and out and keep debris from tires off the side of the truck best as possible.

Thanks John. You an Aggie?

Yeah nfab a are fall back, but just to be different I'm probably going to choose one of my options above unless they are just poor quality compares to the nfabs.

I maintained 1/4-1/2 rake with the 1.5" up front. I think the truck looks perfect and it rides/drives just like stock. I'm glad I didn't do more.

Amp power boards are my number one vote, number two would have to be the black Iron Cross in the second pic.

Now I must clear something up, my platty is a 4x4, I had the dealer pull the stickers off when I bought it. I use my truck to chase down and deliver truck parts, hence the reason it needs to be fast. LOL

The Wagner IC was delivered today. I have talked to Rick at Livernois about the tuner and he advised me to wait until ford does the TSB for condensation so I'm now waiting on the ford dealer to get the parts in. I've also talked to Mike at ARH about enlarging the flair of the Y-pipe and he said any good exhaust shop should be able to do it. I'm almost there, it's like that pretty girl giving you mixed signals.
