Turning the Steering Wheel Adjusts Volume
Alright came across an issue the past 2 nights that have me worried. I've had the hit Next Track button and had it increase the volume before but I've shrugged it off as "meh". Now the past 2 nights I've taken a turn and had the volume increase or decrease. Last night I played it off as "ohh I must have just bumped something" but then it happened again tonight. I've only seen the Next Track problem on these forums so I'm wondering if this is going to be a problem..
Unable to recreate said problem of course, only happening within the first 2 blocks of leaving my place.
What do you think?

There's actually a big thread on this somewhere. Happens to a bunch of people, myself included. I thought I was hitting the wrong button as well, but nope...
I believe there is a reflash for the sync system to fix it, but haven't taken mine in to confirm if it works 100% or not.

Which year is your truck? Have you been to the dealer yet? Let me know and I'll see how to best assist!

clock spring?
There is a circular wiring harness under the wheel that winds and unwinds as you turn the wheel on most vehicles with steering wheel controls. An abraded wire that is touching ground or another wire in that harness can cause these issues. you'd have to remove the steering wheel and check the condition of the spring/harness to be sure.

Not that I know of, unless it was turned back on I've had it off.
Bummer.. How often does it happen? Is it getting any worse? I didn't notice it today but now I'm all paranoid trying to make it happen again.
2012 XLT, No I haven't been to a dealer yet, the closest one is about an hour away.
That's what I was assuming, something to deal with the clock in the steering wheel. Happened on an old caravan we used to own I just don't want to start taking my steering wheel apart.
