Forgive me if this has been posted before, but I have looked and cannot find it.

Ok, so I would like to turn off the auto dimming feature when the truck is in reverse. It extremely difficult to see when I am backing out of my driveway, I have tons of pine trees that block out the street lights that are very close to the sides of my driveway.

I love the feature when moving forward, but can't see a thing when backing up. I really would like it off only then.

 

Not being a smart @$$ here but a set of aux back up lights will be a way better idea.

 

Should automatically turn itself off when in reverse, check the fuse box for a blown one, that or your reverse light circuit is malfunctioning.
