Default Turn Signal stays on

My right hand turn signal stays on constantly after using it this evening. I turned full lock to lock several times and still stays on. I already have an appointment tomorrow morning for an oil change, so the dealership will be looking at it first thing

sounds like it could be the steering wheel angle position switch.

Not to worry Boosted. I'm sure you'll turn right sometime in the future, and you'll be ahead of the game...... JK.

Hope it's an easy fix. Let us know what the problem was. The old style blinker system was fairly easy to figure out, This new one, I'm interested in what makes it work.

Maybe it's got something to do with the EcoBoost engine....Ah crap there I go again.......

It was some switch on the steering column. Replaced and problem solved. I'm just glad it decided to fail the evening before I had an appointment.

Thanks brother. I guess it is similar to the older vehicles. Glad they got her fixed.

My right turn signal quit at 36,500 miles. It would blink 3 times only no matter what I did. (2011 FX4 Ecoboost). The dealer estimated $300 to replace a switch (telephone estimate). I decided to live with it. Now the truck has 46,000 miles on it and the blinker started working again.
