Does Anybody know if custom tunes from either MPT or 5 Star can be emailed an uploaded from an apple product as in an macbook pro? Thanks.

If I remember correctly, the SCT software/drivers only support Windows. So you wouldn't be able to update or transfer tunes to the SCT device with a MacBook. This is beyond MPT and 5*, this is with the device itself.

berty is correct. You will need a computer with a Windows OS to install SCT device updater on, in order to load your tunes.

Dual boot the MAC, or borrow someones PC.

I had to use the wife's laptop from work. Luckily it let me install the software.

Boot camp part of your hard drive and install Windows. I had to do that on my MacBook to run some of my tuning programs for rc racing.

You could also try this. https://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover-mac

I used that program to install a .exe program for the tuner I had for my Harley. Haven't tried it yet to install the SCT software because I just had 5 Star preload it for me before sending it out to me.

They have a free trial to see if it works. If you try it let me know what you come up with as I have no desire to install Windows on my Mac.
