The x4 is easy to use but can be buggy. Make sure it's updated (this used to be an issue with the sct devices but not sure if it still is).

Otherwise it's literally plug and play.

No, it was 3 custom tunes. If you can get all the info for the custom tune form before hand and give it to them when you order, they can load them on the device and send it to you. All you would have to do is upload the tunes and enjoy.
