Default Tuned then adding remote start.

Does anyone know if there would be trouble to add a "plug and play" 200 series remote start to a 2012 F150 that has been tuned? I assume, return to stock then have the starter installed by the dealer.

Just wondering if there would be any conflict with the software when reverting back to the tune?

Anyone done this? Thanks

none at all. I'd do the install yourself, takes 15mins tops, all plug and play then have them activate it (if you don't already have the 100 series RS). shop around at dealers, some will want $130-150 to activate but there'll be a couple that'll charge way less or maybe even do it for nothing. only takes them mins to activate it.

That's what I wanted to hear! I've watched some videos already about the install and it looks super easy. Only PITA is getting it activated by dealer.

So did you do this yourself as well?

No, tuning and remote starts are seperate. I have a tune on my 12 and added a 200 remote, no issues
