Default Truxedo Lo Pro Tonneau Issue

Just got my tonneau installed and all went quick and easy, but have a question for others that have this installed...

At every point that the supplied aluminum clamps were attached, there is a slight outward dimple on the top of my plastic bedrail cover. I'm not very fond of that happening. It doesn't seem right. Is this normal?

Thanks for checking...

I don't see what is actually causing this.
I can feel the clamp at the top underside of it and it isnt protruding up from under the rail.???

I don't want to see you cause another one, but you could move the clamp down a couple inches and see if it happens again. I know one the FX4 we have we clamped them down really tight because we take that truck off road. I don't think its an over tightening issue.

I'm gonna try moving them down a scoche and see it that helps. I was wondering if it was a tightening issue, but that rules that out.

Thanks Stage3.

I moved them down about 1/8"
Appears they were about that much too high. Did help with the dimples about 50%

I think tomorrow baking out in the sun may get them to depress back down...I hope anyhow...

Good, its nice to have the parts on the trucks right outside so we can help with issues like this.

I looked at mine, I don't have those dimples. I have other issues with my Truxedo cover
