Default Truxedo Lo Pro QT question

I just installed this cover on my 2012 Screw. I have a couple of questions. I noticed where I tightened clamps it caused the rubber seal to bulge up a little, is this normal, I didn't feel as though I over tightened. Also I have a spray in liner, where did you install the rubber seal that came with it? Does anyone have any tricks/mods they did to keep the water out that drips in the corners in the front and the small amount of water that gets in around tailgate step? The seal at front did you attach it to the rubber seal that is already attached to cover? Thanks

First, good choice
Yes the rubber bulges a bit...did this on my Nissan as well but no problems. As for the weather stripping, I put it on right on the factory spray liner.

I used something called 3M adhesion promoter. Expensive but works. Body shops use it for moldings...good stuff!

My seal wouldn't work with an aftermarket spray in liner. I left it off.
