First off, sorry about the truck getting hurt.

If you run your thumb nail across the scratch can you feel it? If so you are SOL and will need to have someone fill it in, sand and buff. Depending on how bad the scratch is, will determine how aggressive you'll have to be with products. Do you have a buffer of any kind?

I did do the finger nail test and my nail got caught a bit. I do not have a buffer im willing to spend some cash to do it myself but if the cost would b the same as getting it done professionaly then i might go that route. Any idea how much it would cost ballpark? Thanks for the reply.

I got scratches (BC pinstripes LOL) all down my truck from 4 wheeling through the bush, mine are mostly thin and I can't catch my nail on them.

I haven't drove down to the detailer yet, but they are pretty damn good at what they do, I suggest looking around for a reputable vehicle detailer and they can quote you on if they can buff it out.

A member on here (kidastra)?suggested its probably better to pay someone to do it because if you don't know what you are doing with power buffers you can do more harm than good.

Mine will be more expensive than yours, because its down both sides all over.

I would think in the hundreds for a ballpark.

I'd definitely get some quotes from some local auto body shops and specialty shops. Be weary of some of the detail shops, if they hire inexperienced detailers they will destroy your paint. I've spent countless hours fixing people's cars after their $200 detail special.
